Your Deputation at Province IV Synod

This week your deputation to General Convention are at the Province IV Synod, being held at Kanuga Conferences near Hendersonville, NC. Synod began Wednesday afternoon, June 3rd with a reception welcoming Presiding Bishop Katharine Jeffers Schori. There was time for connecting and community among Province IV deputies.

The evening consisted of a Eucharist in the Chapel of the Transfiguration where The Rev. Dabney Smith, Bishop of Southwest Florida and nominee for the 27th Presiding Bishop, served as celebrant. Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori preached, marking the Feast of the Matyrs of Uganda. More to come, but in the meantime it looks like your Bishop and deputation are having fun and working hard!
